The New Leaf Farm Tour is scheduled for Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21. Starting at 5:30 PM on Sunday, October 21 we are presenting a new event!
Farm to Table Outdoor Dinner
Everything served will be from sustainable, natural and organic farms out of Jefferson, Madison, Leon, Wakulla and other nearby counties. The New Leaf Market Tour has over 30 farms participating and most of the food on the table will be from these sources. We even have a local ?Cowboy Poet? to entertain us through dessert and coffee or tea.
Plans are still in the works. We?re lining up all the food and drink. Monticello Winery will be providing a glass of wine for those that want it with the meal. We?re talking persimmons, honey, beef, pork, lamb, goat, sweet potatoes, okra, and salads??.and this is just the short list. All of this will be prepared by local restaurants and caterers.
Yes, there will be a cost and I?m till working on the budget. Stay in tune. We are planning a classy but casual evening and we want you to join us.
